Week in Photos

Ah~~ I finally found a wifi at my place. I should have ask around earlier.

I have nothing much in my room but cosmetics and snacks!

Some cosmetics are nice and cute.

Those lip glosses are cool stuffs. How cool!? How cool!!??

It has light and mirror. So you can touch up while you party in...da...club!

I'm getting a VERRRRYYYY cool palette from USA, I hope it reaches here safe and nice. It's my dream palette that doesn't ship internationally *thumbs down* and doesn't accept payment from foreign banks *BOO*. And my friend is getting it for me from New York!!! GUESS SAJA girls! If you know this brand you will gone insane~~~ or may be just me so crazy about this. haha anyway, I am only able to receive in December, I can't wait! Hope everything goes smooth *having high hope*

Snacks! And those unhealthy eggs, I know. I just want to try. Funny thing is, it writes there "no preservatives" then the expiry date is in 2014 =.="
The eggs are not bad, but it's a lil weird but I don't know what's so weird about it, but the taste is OK. It's a bit hard and the yolk is bigger.......urm, maybe you should try yourself.

Gonna fly like mad! I have 3 trips in Decemeber woot!

I'm loving this so muchie! Do most of you scrub your body, I wonder? Because I've been scrubbing mine since teenager I guess. I'll feel something's not right if I don't scrub regularly.
Of all the scrubs I used, I liked The Body Shop cranberry scrub at first because the smell is sweet and nice. And this, Soap & Glory sea salt scrub is my fav now! I'm addicted to the smell, the sea salt beachy smell, arghhh~ *melt*

This looks like something we girls need! I haven't try yet but read all the good reviews about it. Tell me if you're interested to know the result after I tried??
The packaging is cool because the texture is like furry matte? It doesn't feel smooth like typical box la.

A picture of me after class. It's smokey eyes, nude lips.

Nom Nom in KL

Ahh~~ I can finally online. Can't online too much like I was in Brunei, Internet here is really expensive as I'm using broadband. I think, since this house that I'm staying are all students, the owner should offer us wifi, we can pay a lil extra. This house has 10 students! It's a terrace house, btw.

I registered Digi broadband and it's sucks! Not all their fault but it's still their fault! 1st, they don't have an unlimited data package, may be they have and if they have, telephone line must be needed. So for my case, I have to get the package that I'm having now la. I first registered 4GB and they told me that if it's not enough I can upgrade it. *snap* Simple and easy.

Few days ago, I realised the data has reached the limit, so I requested to have an upgrade to 6GB. Then they told me "Sorry, you can only upgrade it after 3 months." WHAT!!?? Then what should I do? "Can you make this an exceptional and just upgrade my package since your branch staff told me I can upgrade it anytime." And they told me that they can't do anything but top-up. Because top up is more expensive! RM25 for 1 GB! If I knew I only can upgrade after 3 months, then I would have considered 6GB or higher!! I have a broadband contract by the way, so it's not like I can cancel as I like. Lovely advice to you all, I don't think Digi broadband has a good plan, or else you have to really know how much data you're gonna use before applying it.

And something that was frustrating, Digi customer service is VEEERRRYYYY HARD to reach. "Press 1 for phone setting. Press 2 for broadboand, etc" After you pressed a number "Press 1 for....Press 2 for....3 for...." "Press 1 for....2 for...." In the end, "Sorry, our operator is busy now, please try again later." And I have to listen to it for so many times because (1) They kept busy, (2) I can't remember the numbers!!! pek cek!

Yesterday I wanted to call to upgrade my broadband, and finally it reached. When they picked up the phone the first thing I did was telling them what I want. Then the operator asked my name, broadband number, passport number, etc. "Sorry, our system is down since 10.30pm." Why didn't he tell me earlier but asked me so much question!? =.="

This is my room RM550. The one I said last time was worse, small, without windows RM400.

I had problems with meals when I just reached there as it's not convenient for me to cook in my place. I don't know what to eat because I think I shouldn't dine in restaurants that often. So I ate bread a lot for lunch and dinner. But after that, through friends, they told me where can I eat cheaper foods and economy rice :)

I like set meals every time! The main course comes with a drink (milk tea, tea or coffee) and soup. This is the first time I ordered milk tea in restaurant, I never drink teh C before this lol
Left is Korean noodles. Right is Black Pepper chicken chop and spaghetti. It's really black pepper! *kabooom* really hot!

From Komugi, a Japanese bakery. It's orange mini bread and raisin mini bread.

This is what I had been wanting before I come to KL. I must eat Subway till I got bored with it before going back to Brunei!

Brunei only has Takoyaki, and in KL has a lot of yaki-s!
This is shrimp with mentaiko. Who doesn't love mentaiko!? These balls are super yummy~

A friend brought me to Kucai Lama to have dim sum supper. Ho! A lot of the dim sum I never seen before in Brunei or Miri or anywhere. They have lots of choices and I love this! It's pork rolled with I forgot what's inside but it's heavenly delicious!
Another yummy one is paper wrapped chicken (纸包鸡), it's tastes like BBQ or honey chicken *slurrrp*

Oh damn I forgot what does this call. It's like a small, harder, thicker murtabak skin filled with the Malaysia traditional Chicken Rendang. Hot & Roll has a lot of choices like Pizza beef wrap, chicken cheese wrap etc. They only make it when you order, so it's hot and nice!

Louisiana Restaurant is a seafood, steak, Cajun style restaurant located at Kelana Jaya. Supposed we wanted to eat the famous Nasi Lemak at another place but it was super jam at 8+ pm on a weekday!!?? :O Bigger country is different.
It has a big lake on my right/beside this restaurant, very nice ambiance with the lights and designs.

Cajun Lemon Herbal Chicken chop with fries and salad. It tastes awesome!

I have a lousy phone cam.
People like to celebrate their birthdays or any celebrations there, even proposals. They had 5-6 groups of customer that time, and 3-4 celebrated birthday there. So the "band" there kept coming out to sing.
A lovely place.

Had my dinner at pasar malam too! Wasn't that convenient to take picture, hehe

I had this just now for dinner. Japanese canned food from Daiso. This is some kind of fish. I'm gonna get more Jap canned foods. It doesn't taste like the typical canned foods in Supermarket, it tastes like...Japan! It's Nihon no firu (Japan's feel)! Supermarket here sells Japan imported foods too.

I see a lot of Japanese stores or foods here, so happy because I love Japanese stuff! Sanrio (Hello Kitty) store is opening soon in Sunway Pyramid, how exciting! I yet to try more foods here because everything seems so attractive and yummilicious to me.

Are you ready for Halloween? I'm ready~

(in a deep voice) MUAHAHAHAHA~

ChurpOut 2013

When I received the invitation from Churp Churp, I saw the date then I thought "Since I'll be in KL, I should join this year." It was held on last Saturday at Setia City Mall. So Saturday morning, I got myself ready and headed to Sunway taxi station, was excited then I hesitated! I almost back off because I was afraid to take the taxi alone, and the driver asked me back where is Setia City Mall. I was like :O + !!!!. In my mind, SCM is in Klang, so I went to asked the reception to make sure, then she said it's at Shah Alam. Then I was hovering around the mall's entrance thinking if I should go or do I have the guts to go =.="

So I thought, all the taxi drivers in front of the Pyramid are registered then it should be safe. And I had downloaded  "MyTeksi" app so I should know if the driver is bringing me to the right place. Bah, Go saja! The taxi driver was asking me about the direction and asked if I ever been there. I have to act like I'm local right? then I said Yes Yes, you have to go here...then there.... . I actually researched for the location so I agak-agak know la.

So finally, I made it! Oh ya, another reason that made me really want to go was to meet Cheesie, Audrey and Timothy^^ It's in my bucket list kay~
If you don't know, ChurpChurp is a community for social media influencers.
I felt like I was in Singapore when I was there, because everything looks so kind. opps...

The booths.

It was a cloudy, rainy day.

The goodies.

 The comic drawers.

The bloggers selling their pre-loved items.

Audrey the fourfeetnine :) She's really petite so I had to bend down hehe.

Every time I go KL to travel I wish I have fate with Cheesie or any other blogger celebrities whom I know and meet them. But I wasn't lucky enough.
This time, before I came to KL I was thinking, since I'll be in KL for few months, I hope I can meet Cheesie somewhere and take a pic with her. Can't believe so fast can meet her, just my 5th day in KL!
Everyone's asking "how's meeting Cheesie!?" She's pretty in person too! I told her I'm from Brunei (like she cares) and I wanted to take pic with her so much. ahhahaa like what. :P

Cheesie's booth. And I helped a chaboh to buy the kitty bouquet.

The bungee.

Timothy Tiah, the co-founder of Nuffnang and ChurpChurp.
When I reached there, the first person I saw was him. But I hadn't calm down from a nervous taxi ride, so I only approached him when I was about to leave. He's easy to be recognized...by his signature mole. haha that was how I made sure it was him. He was nice and asked my name, although I know he won't remember my name lol

Watch:

Met a couch surfer at Churpout then we had a drink before we headed home.
I thought for long if I should meet a CS too. Since I knew I would be going to Churpout alone, I thought I can meet the CS who are going too. So I asked who's going to the event then he's one the repliers.

Giza Sunway is a mini outdoor shopping mall.

with bars and clubs.

I was really nervous and confused that whole day, and only felt relax toward the end of the day, as I had a lot of my first time. First taxi ride alone, first meeting with celebrities alone, first time going to event alone outside my own country, first meeting with a CS, etc. I need lots of courage to do this, u know u know?

Then I learnt that, you need to make effort to make your dream come true. In my case, that is meeting the famous people in KL! If I really back off, I think I'll be regretting like "Haiyo Eahui....why you so coward for your whole life!?" Damn happy, more ticks in my bucket list already.

Next mission is to meet XiaXue, Bong Qiu Qiu, Sophie, Yutakis, or any famous Singaporeans since I'll be going to Singapore every month!

See ya, lovelies.

It's Genting again!

I went straight to Genting the first day I reached KL to watch Sam Hui's concert. Genting's customer service is really good every time, I can say. The moment we sat inside the Genting's taxi, woot...macam VIP. The driver politely said "There's a pillow behind you, water beside you. Do you want to listen some music? Chinese or English? Here's some sweets. Are you dizzy?" He even gave reminder, said, remember not to leave belongings behind, and some greetings, I forgot what he said.

We were served hot tea by the hotel because it was really cold.

We stayed in Genting Grand. Really grand~~

Big bath tub. Too bad I didn't bring my bubbles :( It would be nice to soak in the hot bubbles in a cold weather. Can watch TV some more while showering.

Even the dustbin is Burberry! kidding la...

阿一 (Ah Yat) abalone restaurant if I don't get the name wrong.

But we didn't eat abalone la. The foods are yummy~
1. Tofu with scallop and prawn.
2. Pork with broccoli.

Went to visit the Ripley's Believe it Or not! since we have not much to do.

Different look when you turn upside down.

Dentist chair.

Some unusual people:

1. Human unicorn
2. Bird caged dwarf
3. Blue face China man
4. 4 eyes man.

 Car covered with coins.

End of Genting Trip!

I'm good in KL, and been doing some unusual and adventurous missions. Will talk about it some other time ^^ tata....
