I think I wanna marry you~

I just watched this. This is so creative so good, and so touching :):

Every time I watch proposal or wedding videos, or attend friends' wedding, the couples are so sweet that I can't wait my big day to arrive.

I will start to wonder who is going to be my husband, what kind of person he is.

Getting married is my dream!

At the same time, I'm afraid I'll become a spinster...I don't wish that to happen.

So when my mom told my grandma, "It's ok if she's not going to marry. Marriage is not necessary for women nowadays."

I was so upset because I really want to get married.

I thought parents would be worried if their children are still single in their late 20s, and will even match making for them, but my mom is not worry at all?

I thought parents hope their children go through this important process of life.

Everytime I broke up with my boyfriend, I will cry like the world is going to end "我怕我嫁不出..."

Then my friend will say "You're just 21!" and they will think it is impossible for me to become a spinster, but who knows!

Most of my girl friends who are in their late 20s, they all say they don't wanna get marry now. =.=" we think differently as we grow older? I will still choose to think "I must get married and have children!"

A week in photos

So I keep eating these 2 weeks because my Taiwan relatives come to visit Brunei, and family members one by one treating the guests. 

Last Sunday I attended my nephew's full moon at Seasons.

On Thursday, we had dinner at Tandoor.

A week of foods

It's weekend again! Friday is always a good day because Saturday is the best day and Sunday is an awesome day.

I'm still upset about the things got stolen, like I need a nail cutter then I remember "Oh, got stolen already"; and I wanna transfer the movies to my harddisk and remember "Oh got stolen already and even my pendrive." I really wish the cops in Brunei really useful and do something for the pity rakyat like me. 

This week is been all about foods because my relatives from Taiwan came to visit Brunei for the first time. Then my family members one by one want to treat the relatives eat good foods. Yesterday we ate Indian foods, this noon we ate western foods, tonight we eat my grandma's seafoods, tomorrow we are going to  eat Indonesian foods, Monday night we enjoy karaoke with Chinese foods. Is there anymore to come!? Awesome!

We are complicated

Through chatting with my friends, I realize this fun fact about girls, which I experienced it too. That is, when the girlfriend is the one who wants to break up with the boyfriend, the girlfriend is normally more depress than the boyfriend. Although I'm a female, but I'm not sure why too, must be that hormones making us complicated.

Scene 1:

A: They broke up, and she's so sad now.

Me: Who said it first?

A: She

Me: Then why is she sad?

A: You're also like that, you can ask yourself.

Me: (good point)

Scene 2:

A: She wanted to break up with me, and I agreed.

Me: I see...

A: But the mom called me and asked me to settle, because she kept crying. I even heard she was crying loudly when I was on the phone with her mom.

Me: hmm...

The love hate relationship? I dont know...lol.
Ladies are born to be complicated, men are born to solve the problem.

Brother & I duet Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

This is the 4-holes ocarina which got stolen that I mentioned in the previous post. 

It's a Chinese music instrument.

There are other types: 6-holes, 12 holes

There are other designs, not only beetle.

HSBC Walk Run Cycle 4

Was excited on this day and so I prepared well.

I ate before going to the event so I won't be hungry in the middle of cycling;

prepared insect repellent and pins for the number on our shirt;

cool water is important, sure need it when you're tired;

I brought my phone for taking pictures, this is important kay~;

You think these are just small things, but if others did not prepare well like me, I will become the most important person in the group! wahahha...

Must do some training before this kind of event, so you are well-trained with energy!

And before the event day, we went training in a group at UBD campus at night.

Before everything, must make sure our bicycles are in good condition.

The day has arrived!

We went from Bandar, to Berakas and turned one round back to Bandar.

The hills at Berakas were killing me, I was pushed by someone to give me some energy, and pushed my own bicycle and I walked because my energy turned 0%.

They have water stops to serve us some energy.

The great part was down the hill. Super steep and fast till the security asked me to brake because it is dangerous if I lost balance.

I did not get any lucky draws :(

Some people were in great costumes, I wonder if they feel comfortable because they wore their costumes to Walk/run/cycle.

Getting another year older

It started with this surprise cake from the family on mother's day. 

It's a fruit cheese cake from Bakerlyn.

After few friends know that my things were stolen, they tried to find the same stuffs for my birthday.

This was given by Carol last Christmas. 

Like this so much that was why I put nicely on my car seat rather than underneath the seat.

Then she bought another one, but pink.

The NYX lipstick that I like it so much and decided to introduce to u guys got stolen too.

DK bought the same one for me.

That day they had a new menu.

Appetizer: Fish gumbo with okra, mussels, prawn and oysters

It looks so-so, but very tasty. Not too sweet, not too sour, not sure how to describe the taste, but it's excellent. 

Main: Poached Market fish with greens, anchovy almond crumbs, prawn emulsion

Indescribable delicious.

You know some foods obviously sweet/sour/salty, but I think the taste of their foods quite balance. 

Or is it I have no knowledge in foods that's why I can't describe? lol

Main: Roasted Angus pure beef loin 'polve', pulled beef croustade, braised red cabbage

Had the beef medium well, it's juicy yummy. Made me thought of the poached beef at Spaghettini.

Dessert: Buttermilk bavarois with honey syrup and dried fruits

It's like cheesecake. It's good that the cake isn't that sweet.

A friend asked if I blew cake. I said no without any disappointment la, may be because I blew on the mothers day already.

But after a while Dk suddenly sang birthday song when I was chatting with Carol, I was stun like that :O

It's a beautiful cake but he was so pek cek about the rainbow spray. lol

It's awesome when you keep receiving presents non-stop haha

After a while again, he took out another present from nowhere. Ofcourse my reaction was "wa, why you give me so many presents?"

Because I thought I will only receive this hello-kitty-2-in-1 pillow from him, so I didn't expect that much la.

Not forgetting the lunch treat by Damian.

And ofcourse my dad gave me the most expensive presents because he needs to pay for my things which got stolen.

A lot of people asked me if my car window is ok. It's fine and fixed within 2 hours. So it's actually not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is my passport! I need to wait at least 6 months to get it! Sigh...anyway...
