My week in photos

Been hanging out with the girls lately, and can even chat until 3am. We had not meet for 7 months, some went abroad for student exchange and some internship. And now we meet each other everyday :)

Lunch out at Lemon Grass.

Yee accompanied me to do my stuffs.

Met Wu Chun at Fitness Zone.
Suppose I had a voucher from HSBC Walk Run Cycle, who knows it's already expired last month and it was not stated in the voucher. Ended up paying $10 (student price) since we were there already. And our special promotion is to meet Wu Chun lol

My friend joked that "Who knows we can meet Wu Chun." Then when we reached fitness zone, Wu Chun was really in front of us talking to the contractor. And we still can change our shoes slowly in the car, discussing whether it was really Wu Chun.

My friend then approached Wu Chun and asked for picture with him, and this teruk girl asked him "Can you wait for me because I want to change clothes." =.=" He may not be a super star in Brunei, but he is a super super star in China and Taiwan or other countries. Other fans don't even have the chance to talk to him face to face, but she asked whether Wu Chun can wait for her a while. 好花不常开,好景不常在。

If you wonder what Wu Chun replied her, he replied "You can come back tomorrow." So she ended up taking picture with him before she changed clothes.

Shabu-shabu after fitness. Urm...not the right thing, right?

A lot of friends posted this on Facebook or Instagram, Belluno Gelato Mochi.
It's really nice. I like Mango and Creme cookies. Not sure about others because I haven't try yet. It's bit expensive. 3 for $5.60, equivalent to a meal.

Went swimming at JPMC. Bit ugly here...but...nah...

A pic of me on Monday.

Semester starts, it's very challenging, in another word, stress! But we must go through these to get a degree.
Doing part time can release the stress. Yes, it's also bit stress with my part time now, because I'm doing sales. I'm looking for more part time, so you can contact me if you need me ^^

My week in photos

I joined the Tasek Run last saturday...just kidding~
I was there hiking and saw this run going on. Was about to finish our hike, we saw the finish line and Milo car in front us.
Milo car was our fav when we were kids, u too right?

Had tea at Hot point.
Orange juice's my fav juice.

How did you celebrate father's day?
I made a card for my dad.

My grandma's dumpling is so famous and delicious, how can I not learn from her. Even a reporter wanted to interview her, but she's being low profile and rejected the interview.
I was busy making dumpling with her these two days.
Sunday I made Red bean dumpling (photo above) (kan sui zhong);
Monday I made pork dumpling (ba zhang).
Even my friends said "I don't want to pangsai anymore" because they want to keep the dumpling inside their stomach. Yea, that delicious ^^

I was waiting for my RD for so long =.=" I just got it when I went back home last weekend.

Why my cousin so cute!?
Look at that tummy...awww~

Had not seen minna for 3 years! Finally she's back to Brunei and met her.
Nothing change, but her ang moh slang!

Outfit on Sunday night.

I almost forgot I'm joining the mochi contest till I saw a post on my FB.
Don't be lazy, Click here and like my photo.
Thanks for the support and I want that iPad :) LOL

HSBC Walk Run Cycle 4

Was excited on this day and so I prepared well.
I ate before going to the event so I won't be hungry in the middle of cycling;
prepared insect repellent and pins for the number on our shirt;
cool water is important, sure need it when you're tired;
I brought my phone for taking pictures, this is important kay~;

You think these are just small things, but if others did not prepare well like me, I will become the most important person in the group! wahahha...

Kelvin's head is bigger than the helmet :D
Must do some training before this kind of event, so you are well-trained with energy!
And before the event day, we went training in a group at UBD campus at night.
Before everything, must make sure our bicycles are in good condition.

19th May 2012
The day has arrived!

10 000+ people in here!

BEFORE

AFTER
We went from Bandar, to Berakas and turned one round back to Bandar.
The hills at Berakas were killing me, I was pushed by someone to give me some energy, and pushed my own bicycle and I walked because my energy turned 0%.
They have water stops to serve us some energy.
The great part was down the hill. Super steep and fast till the security asked me to brake because it is dangerous if I lost balance.

I did not get any lucky draws :(

aiks so low quality =.="

Some people were in great costumes, I wonder if they feel comfortable because they wore their costumes to Walk/run/cycle.
This guy I think he's from plants and zombies?

They have game booths.

The cotton candy which we wanted to eat, but afraid we cannot finish because it's very sweet normally.

Pasar malam outside the field.

Met Rano

Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick

It was a fun night with great experience. I will definitely join again but may be different categories. hehe

HSBC walk run CYCLE 2

Hm, I just realised I didn't take a picture of the whole.

Anyway, the registration is already closed because has reached 6000 participants!

I was told by a friend that in other countries, they have this Walk, Run AND Cycle altogether in a given distance. I was :O I never thought of that! I am joining 11.5km, I think by the time I need to Run, I have already fainted.

I quickly check their website again, it says Walk, Run OR Cycle. So, we should be choosing one of the 3 right? Lol-ness, hopefully~~

6km cycling sounds short, ya right. I have tried to cycle in the gym. Starting to get tired at 2km x.x

May be I'll be cycling around KB on Saturday night. yohoo! Everyone is practising, I must do my best too.

Earth Hour 2012

It was Earth Hour yesterday from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
I believe there were activities going on in different countries, and in Brunei, we had night picnic, night cycle and making the formation 60+.

This is the first time I join, and my team mates and me were representing 350 org

It was still bright when I reached there around 7+ pm,
and the cyclist were registering themselves.

There were market nearby, selling clothes, bags and foods.
I'm not sure whether this market is part of the Earth Hour event, but I think they should sell something related like Earth Hour T-shirts, solar torch light, etc. That would be meaningful.

The cyclists are getting ready.

I didn't know they are going to have this night cycle, else I would like to join!

Welcoming the prince.

Get set, GO!

Light was turned off, and everyone light up the candles and on their torch light.

There were many groups joining the night picnic.
This very team working group is from City Neon.

A group making formation 60 by candles.

I guess the prince is very humorous. I couldn't hear what he said, but the people kept laughing.

Awesome picnic set.

and this is us! The 350 Brunei Team.
Then the people all wondering what is 350?
I wrote a post about our team, you can click to read again.

I brought the kinetic torch light.

a work of another group.

The sun jar!

we were asked to sit at the edges to form 60+

Waiting for 9.30pm count down.

The cyclists were back.

Another group enjoying the night picnic.

We did the count down,
the light were on,
and that was the end of Earth Hour.

It was only the light at the grass field which was turned off.
It would be more meaningful if the street lights and the lights of the buildings were turned off. It would be extremely dark, and you can really feel the Earth Hour!

It's a great step that Brunei is organising this to support Earth Hour, that raise the awareness of protecting the earth.

Good job good job everyone who joined. Earth Hour next year again!
Can earth hour in your everyday life too, that would be better.

Off the lights when not in use :)
