Zouk Out 2015

Hello darlings! It's been months. I know I know. Sorry, I've been sick. I'll try to live up this space again. Do people now still read blogs actually? lol

I went to Singapore last December to attend Zouk Out 2015 at Siloso beach with my loves. Been wanting to join Zouk Out and finally! Normally when you go travel, you worry if the group would get along well. And we all have admitted that this trip was great, we are just very "ngam key".

We stayed at The Pod, Bugis. It's a capsule kind of accommodation, quite posh, comfortable, it includes almost what a hotel room can offer i.e. towel, shower gel, hair dryer, iron, laundry, secure key card access to your room and locker, free wifi, complimentary breakfast, etc! Isn't it awesome? 

And since we have 5 pax, we actually had the whole room ourselves. The shared washroom is very clean. Once someone is out of the shower room, the maid will go and clean it - Singapore standard *thumbs up* You can watch the video below for more info about The Pod. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I fell asleep while dancing (that's so pro) as I didn't have enough sleep before that. 

But it was great and King looks like he didnt have fun. LOL joke

The rest of the days, we went shopping and eat and shopping and eat.

Damn heavy eh

I love this cafe so much! The foods are attractive, looks delicious and those I've tried taste heavenly. 

It has lots of choices. It was so crowded too.

After that we visited Gardens by the Bay to watch the Christmas lights! It's a very tired trip as it was raining and VEERRYY crowded.

The next day we went to Jurong East for shopping.

This kolo mee is the best kolo mee I've ever eat. I like the texture. The noodle is thin and just nice to eat. I forgot the restaurant's name paiseh but it's at Jurong East lol

Thanks Gerald, King, Yee Lan and Horng for making this trip happen and awesome. It was great and I look forward for the next trip with the Shakestation group before King Kong got married with kids haahhaha

My birthday story!

It was my birthday on the 18th May and I never expect my birthday this year would be full of surprises. May be I never expect anything, I actually thought no one would celebrate with me, that's why in these two weeks, surprises much. hehe 

Really feel thankful to everyone who celebrated with me and greeted me, and thank you for all the treats and gifts. Opening gift is always exciting, even it's just a little gift. Wohooo!

My family surprised me with a cake on a Mother's day which is two weeks earlier from my birthday. Super advance because my dad thought I would be busy the weeks after. #happyfamily

I went dinner with my girls last week and suddenly a cake was served by the waiter when I thought we were about to go. We were so full that night and I was thinking "Finally I finished the foods!" Then Yin said she wanted to have a cake before leaving, yea sure why not. 

I was very blur because when I was about to leave Yin said "不是!" I wasn't sure what she meant, thinking the cake is not for us but the waiter was blocking my way. Was a confusing surprise but it was great.

On my birthday eve, my bestie Yee Lan brought me and Yuet Ling for spa and facial at Herbaline. 

The place is very nice, very comfortable, very posh. the price of facial is OK too. 

The basic facial costs around RM89. I had a discount of RM25 because it's my birthday and I'm 25 years old. So if you are 50 years old, you get a RM50 discount.

However, the facial isn't suitable for me. I had breakouts after that :((

Foot spa with water and....salt. haha Then a fish spa after that but I'm too coward to put my feet in. 

Looking at the fishes sucking your leg is kinda....gali.

Yee Lan asked me to overnight at her place, I thought she just wanted to keep me accompany because I was very upset about something. I didn't want at first but in the end I still give face went. LOL

While chatting with King about exciting stuffs (talking business), I silent my phone because I respect King, I have to concentrate hahahah Didn't realize it was already 12am and with messages coming in, the cha boh suddenly sang birthday song. #toosweet It's a kitty Popcorn ice cream cake!

Then lunch time with another group of friends at Excapade. This is coool! This Yin got so much idea.

Chyi's (middle) birthday is around the corner too. Thanks Johnny boss for the treat.

You see how spoilt am I to have these awesome people around me. And that night my enemy, Dick brought me to Empire Pantai for buffet with Devin and Amy.

I like all the foods there except for the desserts. Doesn't really suit my taste. I prefer Zest. 

Birthday girl wu sui bo (pretty not)? ^^ My necklace si beh chio by the way. 

And again, we were VERY full. I was about to leave and say Bye to them then they were like "Where are you going? You got something to do? I thought we are going to our room to drink something." They had a room by the way. 

Before that, it was because Empire Pantai doesn't serve water. So they were thirsty. 

Then suddenly another cake. I never expect that because I was in the room for quite a long time. Thank you #ialmostcried haha

Before going for the dinner, Dick asked me to open the present first. When I saw a BIG brown box without knowing what it is inside, I didn't say thank you first but "Confirm very expensive lo!!" Because I warned told him not to give me expensive stuffs. 

I was thinking may be it's a machine.

It's a make up box with my logo printed! My jaw dropped!

I'm using a very normal hand bag to put my cosmetic when I do my job. Make up box is just too heavy for me. I prefer making my life easy, it's ok if people say I don't look professional because....It's the skill that speaks! 

May be Dick 看不过眼。

It's heavy as a whole. But what's good about it is, it has 3 sections and you can reassemble it. Like I can just bring the top section, or I can just use the below section so it's lighter! It's light also because it's by fabric not the metal kind.

I just received this yesterday. All the way from UK from Dick.
