Week in Photos

Gyudon at Kaizen.

Ling's collection. These are not all, she has another BIG box of Kitty stuffs like calculator, lunch box, etc.

Graduation dinner. I'm quite disappointed that we didn't have gala night like the seniors, wearing pretty dresses, interesting performances, dancing etc like young people! We had quite like a formal dinner.

It wasn't even full house, there were few empty tables. Waste of foods :(

 Had Malay cuisine.

Passed time by playing UNO. Why they cannot be punctual every time? WHY!? We started around 8.50-9pm eh.

I salute His Majesty much because HM's always punctual. This was during our Graduation ceremony, I checked my watch when HM arrived and it was 9am SHARP. *applause* That's why the locals love him much. 好版样!

Visited my relative's recycle company. This is what they do with the recycled stuffs. They categorize and squeeze the stuffs to one big pile that weights around 1000+kg and reuse them.
A lil knowledge for y'all ^^ For black and white papers, they normally reuse it for making toilet paper. For color papers like magazine, in China, they use it for making "hell money". How to say 金银纸? lol
I can't believe there are so much new unsold magazines. They also collect metals that include cars! They were so many cars being squeezed :O Can you imagine the weight and size? They collect plastics too.
Start recycling and send to the recycle companies! Save the earth

Had Thai foods yesterday at MOD.

Had BBQ on the weekend for my farewell :) arigato gozaimasu. We played heads up, it was fun for a short while. Watched Running Man, they are always funny. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Patrick looks like sitting on the sand enjoying the undersea view. What a funny and creepy pose. It was trying hard to flip over.

We are now rushing to complete my house before I leave to Kuala Lumpur in 12 days! The progression is so mighty-ubberly SLOW. We bought last September when the contractor said it was close to finish. We expected everything would be done in December 2012. It's already a year! Now just left the walls to be painted then we can move in the furniture. So happy that I'm able to get furniture from Ikea, I like their designs. Happy because it's not like I can get whatever I want, it has to be approved by my dad, he's the sponsor :)

I feel sorry to the suppliers, but it's not my fault to be picky. I'm not sure if this is considered as a perfectionist, but I'll get really unhappy when I see a lil scratch on the furniture that make them imperfect. Some people would tell me "A little only la, nevermind la" to be less troublesome. I would stop complaining for a while to make myself accept the imperfect thing, look at it from different angle, I'll go forward and backward to see if the scratch is unobvious, I'll repeat this a lot of times for the whole day that makes me look like some crazy girl with depression, then I would have insomnia because the scratch image stays in my mind, then I can't stand it anymore, I would tell myself "I WANT TO EXCHANGE THIS THING!!" Yes, I'm that serious. This happened when I couldn't accept my current hair color too. Anyway...

So I called the supplier to remind and emphasize, "Please check the furniture before you send. I want it to be really perfect. I don't want to exchange again after your staffs send the furniture here. We make it less troublesome okay? Perfect ah! Thanks." Then she replied "Ok ok, I will make sure the furniture is PERFECT." haha not sure if she was unhappy. But when I pay for it, the description didn't say there will be scratches. What for I pay for an imperfect thing.

My dad himself will be making my bed, not the mattress, just the headboard and the bottom part :)

Can't wait to see my complete house next year. Sometimes life is just unexpectable. I never expect I would go abroad alone for a period, never expect to get a house at this age. Life is too good to be my dad's daughter. Oh-nei-to-fo~

再遇失散多年的朋友

Recently, YeeLan and I contacted back after 10 years. She left when we were Form 2, after that, we never contact again. We decided to meet up and the first meet is me joining her and her friends to go Miri. It's quite "toink" in the beginning because first, I went to pick up her friend and I had no idea who she is. She was like "OK...this is the first time I sit on a stranger's car." After I picked her, we went to meet YL who I had not seen for 10 years :O I was worried that I couldn't mix with them, since I didn't even know them, and not knowing YL's personality too. But, it turned out really good hehe

This is YeeLan.

Vintage restaurant. It's a homecook kind of restaurant and tea is their popular drink.

Buttermilk Pork tastes really good and vege.

Boss treated us a lil of his 40 years old tea which costs RM1000+

Boss claimed that this tea pot costs a Mercedes, wu nia bo (true or not)???

Went to bridal studio, one of the girls are getting married.

We went shopping and sing K!

When 5 girls go shopping together lol look at those bags!

Happy to know them and of course glad to meet my ex-classmate again after so long. We just met once then she said she can pick me up from airport when I come back from KL in December, no matter Miri or Bandar. Awww~ How sweet.

That's all for today, xoxo.

1st GenNext Cohort, 25th Convocation Ceremony

Hello! I am finally a graduate and had the convocation ceremony on Thursday. We had to arrive UBD at 7am. Like usual I started driving at 6.30am (I stayed in Bandar that night), I normally able to reach Uni before 7am, but OMFG I was stuck in the jam and it was nerve wracking because it was already 7am! I thought it was gonna be like normal days because the students were expected to go with the parents (meaning a car for a family). But I think there were students who are like me, who went there separately from parents Anyway, I wasn't late in the end. Phew! I believe there were students who didn't make it on time because the marshal kept announcing "Please come to the reception for your attendance."

This is actually on the day of full dress rehearsal. 1,030 students here :O

Getting ready and Hy doing my gown.

Pictures time! As we are not allowed to bring anything (including phone) on the convocation day.
The FBEPS-ian.
FBEPS= Faculty of Business, Economics, and Public Policy.

The intelligent students, except for me.

My childhood friend, my classmate for 20 years (can you even believe that!?), very smart and always complain about my blur-ness =.="

Who you think she looks like? The first time my course mates and I met her, we were shocked because we thought she is Princess Sarah. Then she said she's not, and not even related.

The 25th Convocation day!
Was surprised to see my dad there because we were quite last to come out. Must be very tired waiting haha

HM giving the speech and distributed the certs :) Must be very tired as he stood there for more than an hour and distributed the certs for 1000+ students.

It took really long that I was trying not to fall asleep, but still fell asleep for a bit =.= Was so afraid because cameras were everywhere and the spot light was "spotting" on me!

 Q to receive the certs.

2 very intelligent and outstanding students.

Vui came and gave me bear! So sweet. The bear is handmade btw.

Family ^^ What a nice picture here.

Shimmy, my hostel mate who accompanied me when I had hard times/moody, we studied together during exam periods, she is able to answer me all the questions/doubts I asked, she accompanied me when I need a  companion, we wrote sticky note to each other with lovely words, etc. :)
I never thought I can get to know her more or chat with her for hours, because the first time I met her, she's very secretive and always says "NC (no comment)" lol

 Randomly took pic with Louis.

Vui gave a monkey to Sally.

Amir, my dance mate, my course mate.

Yvonne, who has all Y for the initials of her Chinese name. My childhood friend, table tennis mate (may be not anymore, I haven't been playing for 2 years), she's good in cooking and I had a mashed potato cake from her on my birthday because Ima mashed potato lovaaar!

I used to think high school is the best part of my life, but now I think life in uni was great too! I met lots of people during uni, I stayed with other girls and we cooked for each other, did projects together, parties, hang outs, etc. Some lecturers are fun and helpful.

It was torturing when I had presentations or hectic course works as my level of understanding is kinda low, I need 10x more effort than the others to get ready. Even more torturing during exam periods, no matter how early I started studying, I had to read everything again the day before the exam, that made me didn't have enough sleep or I didn't even sleep x.x The good side is I did received foods from friends for energy boost ^^

During the third year in Uni, I passed my citizenship and was able to get a year scholarship (for the last year). Was really happy, so lesser burden for my dad.

Had a really great moment in uni. They said you will enjoy more after A level, and that's true! Especially for business field students, each lecture takes 2 hrs, and trice a day, plus 1-2 an hour of tutorials. The rest of the days we can do assignments, quite relaxing.

The end for uni life, and one step forward to begin a new life: staying in another country. Less than a month, I'm gonna leave Brunei to pursue my dream. So soon ah... >< feeling nervous. That's all for today :)

Week in Photos

Hello dolls! It's been a while. I've been staying in Bandar for the Convocation/Graduation Rehearsal. So tiring ><

Welcome back and Farewell dinner at Gohan with the cousins. We have one cousin who just came back from UK, 1 leaving to UK and me leaving to KL next month.

When most of us (the adults) think this looks like nen nen, my innocent little cousin said it looks like eyes lol

Got so many foods that day from aunties and cousins. This coffee bread, mooncake and durian dessert. And gift from UK. *hands full*

The weekend me.

Dyed my hair and I am so unhappy about it and wanted to re-dye, but...nevermind, dye it next time again.
It's not the colour I want. I wanted it to be brighter but I understand when it's hard to control since I have my natural hair, black hair (I dyed black previously) and bleach.
It's not clear from here. It actually has a lil red and orange and brown. But after washing it, it seems like getting browner :'( Brown is a color that I never ever want to dye.
Sometimes I think it looks nice, sometimes it's just meh....urgh I know it's just a hair color but I don't know why I mind it so much this time.

Happy Hour!

Convo rehearsal. we had 2 rehearsals, and both rehearsals took so long (because we have 1000+ students)  that I fell asleep every time =.=" I know I will fall asleep again on the convo day itself . Oh no ><

Went to Eileen Sandwich to try their sandwich. Their style is like Subway, so I was excited.

Their set meal. Yes I was excited then disappointed after that. The vege is too much and the meat is just a thin slice. I only taste vege :( Subway still best!

I watched Elysium, and..I didn't fall asleep ^^ to add credit to myself, I understand the movie without asking much! haha

It's gonna be a long day later that I'm going to Miri with the girls and up Bandar to stay overnight for my Convocation this Thursday! Have to make sure I'm not late to Convo. tehee...night!
