Creamy Chicken Penne from Pizza Hut

It looks attractive.

It's not bad, but a bit salty.
The salty-ness makes me thirsty.

If less salty will be really good.
Guess if I'm ordering the pasta again, I will another dish.

Yesterday, I got a surprise birthday party from my family.
It was a memorable one, and it's kinda long story to say.
I didn't take picture using my cam, so I'm waiting the pics to be uploaded.
I still have presents to be received, means I haven't received yet. It's from New York.
So, I'm gonna show you my presents when I got them.
It was a very Diamoney 21...

Pattaya Fried rice/mee

This Pattaya Fried Rice is from The Arch in Gadong.

May be I like eggs, so I like it when the rice/mee is inside the egg.
It tastes better with chilli sauce.

It's a Thai food. In Thai restaurant, this dish is called Phad Tai.

Mama's Day

We celebrate every year, and my family members would surely mention about the accident I had 4 years ago (because I had a car accident on Mother's Day).

You're gonna love my family, and ask if you can join my next family gathering after looking at those foods.
We didn't order the foods, all are cooked by the women in the family.

Sushi

chicken wine

Prawn Tiger salad

Hainan chicken rice and fried mee

dumpling

toufu hua

+

Corn Soup

+

Asam lady finger

Still thinking whether these are really not ordered from restaurants?

It's true! All made by the Chua Family!

Every year we will definitely eat this fruit cake from Bakerlyn lol
Not sure why. But it's a very nice cake.

The mommies take turn to cut the cake

I kept asking Ah Be to kiss me, and he hates me after that.

Last time, I always draw a card for my mom during Mother's Day when I was a kid.

After that, I stopped drawing, and started to fold papers like stars, cranes, etc.

As I grow older and saved a lil money from the part time jobs, I buy things for her.

This year, lol, I have no idea what to give because my mom has everything! I got some samples from a skin care shop, packaged nicely, and I gave it to her.
It's more like something useful rather than a gift.

How you celebrate Mother's Day :)?

Prawn Salad

It doesn't look attractive, but it's delicious.

This is one of my fav salad, and the only salad that I know how to do.

Ingredients:
- Purple Cabbage (it provides more vitamins than the green cabbage)
- Prawn
- Thousand Island (or your fav salad sauce)
- carrot (optional, my mom insisted)

*now I'm feeling so-not-me when I'm telling you how to make my salad lol
Who doesn't know that I'm not interested in cooking, but I like to make foods that I like*

1st: Cut the cabbage into smaller pieces like the picture shown above.
Do not slice it. It tastes different when the cabbage is TOOOOOO small, the most important thing in this salad is when you can chew it and feel the crunchi-ness of the cabbage.
Cooking the cabbage is not necessary. I didn't cook it.

2nd: Cook the prawn. Peel the skin. Cut them into half.
It is not comfortable to eat such a big prawn, unless you like. So cut into half is recommended.

3rd: slice the carrot.
It doesn't have any difference between with and without the carrot. The only difference is you will consume more vitamins, therefore, healthier.

4th: Mix everything together with your fav salad sauce.

5th: chill it.
The taste of the salad will blend into the cabbage and prawn. It's nice to eat it when it's cold.

Too much vege may not taste nice. I like it when it has a lot of prawn.

Enjoy your healthy salad!

Capers Italian Pasta Restaurant

I think this picture taken by me is nice ^^

I was invited to HW's birthday dinner at Capers, an Italian restaurant, which is famous of their 'eat all you can' promotion.
This 'eat all you can' offer is for every evening 5pm to 11pm.

Adult: BND$14.80 per person, Kids below 10 years old: BND$7.50 per person.
The buffet only include pasta and pizza from the menu.
If you order the main course, drinks, desserts then there will be additional charge.

If you can't finish what you have ordered then there gonna be extra charges.

The pasta and pizza are tasty. Too bad I didn't get to try my favourite carbonara, because I was too full and paiseh la~ lol

I didn't take a lot of pics of the foods, again, because I paiseh ><

I know I will have another chance to dine there, so I'll take more delicious pics, also, it depends who I'm going with.

Some friends who are not that close to me, I normally behave more and feel embarrassing if I keep taking pics of the foods because I need to stop them for a few seconds for me to take a picture of their foods, and I feel they gonna be like "hmm~ why is this girl keep taking the pics of the foods. I want to eat~"

I tried their side orders too. Not sure what's the real name of the dish, but it's salmon.
The salmon tastes really nice, and you're gonna take the 2nd one after you eat the first.

the Royal Wedding

Every one in the world was watching the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

I was in hostel and RTB did not show the live, so I only can stream it online from BBC.com.

It was streaming good during the arrival of guests, and it went like this when people start tweeting "I saw Kate in the car":

I kept refreshing and was able to see a few seconds of the live:

then it went again "not available in your area". Damn it!

People were so excited to see the wedding gown of Kate's. I thought it would look luxurious, but it was gorgeous in simplicity.

From the live video, the crowd was WOW, real lot! And Vui was one of them lol *envy*

Tomorrow is Financial Management exam,
the module which I hate :'(

Random facts about me

At this period, if anyone says "Hey, it's my/his/her/their birthday on xxxxday",
and I would have the same response "OMG! Taurus too!"

Taurus is the Zodiac sign from 20 April to 21 May.

I have a lot of friends who are born between this period, and I know 4 people who has the same birthday as me.

The personality somehow the same.

Some friends can tell that the Taurus has the same personality, because we, the Taurus group, got the same response towards a thing.

A friend asked me what I think about Taurus. From my experience/survey:
- Taurus is stubborn.
- Money-conscious depends on what situation.

Yes, I'm stubborn in a way if I'm confidence about something, or insist using that way.
I'm definitely not stubborn and will accept people's opinion when it comes to academic lol

However, I'm still a kind who can be easily persuaded if you can convince me.
So, conclusion, I accept people's opinion, but it depends ^^.
Sometimes, I have my own way of thinking.

Yes, kinda money-conscious. I save money for a purpose, mainly for my skin, hair, traveling and anything that I love.
I'm OK to spend on foods (eat when you can, you'll regret you're restricted to eat).
I'm not a kind who spend a lot on clothes, heels (although I have a lot, but I buy them once a year), bags, etc.

Guess what most Taurus want from their life partner?
- They want them to save $ too! lol

Save $$ for the Taurus to spend!

Another random fact about me?
- I mind a lot on how people look at me (there's exceptional).
I mind when I don't look good.
I mind how people look at my hair, my body, legs, arse, etc.
So I'll be glad when people tell me "hey, I think your hair is a bit weird." and suggest me how to make it better.

Don't tell me that I have a small boobs, because I'm not gonna spend thousands on fake boobs to please your vision.
"I'm born this way" - Lady Gaga

But I don't give a damn to rumors/gossips,

"Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it."
